💡 The 1.2 kΩ PROG resistor sets charge current to 1 A by default. For smaller batteries (<500 mAh), replace with a 2 kΩ resistor to reduce current to ~580 mA — preventing cell stress. Always use the B+ and B- pads for battery connection, and the OUT+ and OUT- pads for load connection — never draw load current through the battery pads.
