💡 Always use a heatsink — even at 95% efficiency, 25 A generates enough heat to destroy the SSR without thermal management. Apply thermal compound and mount to at least a 150 cm² aluminium plate. For inductive loads (motors), a snubber circuit (47 Ω + 0.1 µF in series) across the load terminals prevents voltage spikes.
