Tiny RTC I2C module 24C32 memory clock module board DS1307 DESCRIPTION :
Features:
This module is without battery(battery type is LIR2032) ,because we received the notice from the post office that they don\'t accecpt goods with batteries. Therefore, please buy cautiously.
This is the DS1307 Real Time Clock developed by one of our designer waiman. The module comes fully assembled and pre-programmed with the current time (ok, so it\'s our current time - MST). The DS1307 is accessed via the I2C protocol.
Two wire I2C interface
Hour : Minutes : Seconds AM/PM
Day Month, Date - Year
Size: 28x25x10mm
Leap year compensation
Accurate calendar up to year 2100
1Hz output pin
56 Bytes of Non-volatile memory available to user
๐น Key Applications
- Battery-backed timekeeping for Arduino data loggers
- Alarm and timer applications requiring persistent time
- Timestamp generation for sensor data logging
- Scheduled automation and event triggering
- Clock display projects
- Low-power IoT devices requiring wake-up scheduling
๐น Why Choose This Module?
- DS1307 maintains time when main power is off โ using coin cell backup
- I2C interface โ only 2 wires (SDA/SCL) needed
- 56-byte battery-backed SRAM โ stores settings through power cycles
- Onboard 24C32 EEPROM โ additional non-volatile data storage
- Pre-installed coin cell holder โ ready to use out of the box
๐น Technical Specifications

๐น What's Included
1 ร DS1307 RTC Module with 24C32 EEPROM and Coin Cell
๐น Pro Tip
๐ก Set the clock once using the RTClib library for Arduino, and it maintains time accurately for years on the coin cell. I2C address is 0x68 for the DS1307 and 0x57 for the 24C32 EEPROM. For higher accuracy requirements, consider the DS3231 module which has a temperature-compensated oscillator.
โ ๏ธ Note: Always ensure proper heat dissipation and correct voltage configuration before powering connected devices.
